My 2017 Case Puchases

Got a 1930 Case C for scrap price. Had to put a trailer home axle under the rear to winch it on the trailer. Good block and tinwork but missing mag and bracket. Intake and exhaust is shot. Same auction I got the center exhaust 1941 SC. Manifold is good but no head or fuel tank Paid twice scrap value for that. Before that I got a VA. Has brand new rear tires but no fenders or drawbar. Paid twice scrap for that. Engine is loose but no quite running. Power to distributor but no spark on plugs but plugs are wrong for application Wife not extremely thrilled about my year but I am. LOL. Will post pictures as I work on them

Good for you for saving these old Case tractors. I admire your ambition, don't know if I'd take that chore on anymore. Let us know how you progress with them. Don

In my early 20's people people might have have thought I was addicted to beer. But now I'm convinced I'm addicted to CASE. I think saving these tractors might even be cheaper than buying all that beer. And I have something to show for it

Sorry was going to get it for you. It is #4501574. I have two other 1941 sc's but they aren't center exhaust. All have the short hoods. One is on steel and the both have the dual fuel manifolds

I'm always happy to see young blood interested in restoring and preserving old Case tractors. I have accumulated several lifetimes of work to do on my herd. At least I have them and almost all under roof. My progress on them seems to go at a snails pace as it takes so long to redo one not to mention a lot of money. Sure is rewarding though to see the final result. Keep up the good work!

I wouldn't mind having the serial numbers of those other '41's as well, if it isn't too much trouble. Thanks for getting me the number off of your center exhaust!

Hoping to get them all under roof in the next year or two. Space is my biggest problem. I just turned 40 so I'm not necessarily a spring chicken but I am trying to get my 10 year old boy into them. He likes the hand clutch tractors just due his size. Trying to get my 45 S done because it is nice a small and a hand clutch and would be easy for him to use.
