My first tractor purchase

Going through some old paperwork, and found the 1976 cancelled check for my first tractor purchase. One Farmall F14 on rear steel that ran, 4 F12s (3 for parts) and another F12 that had a Vega engine and transmission installed in extended frame rails. I screwed up and never got back to pick up the plows, cultivators, and mowers that went with them. $100 for all. From a retired neighbor/teacher that was selling his garden farm. The picture above my name shows most (but not all) that the collection has grown into.

I looked at an inflation calculator and it said $100 then would be $575 now. Not sure how accurate that is but some context.
