My Own Tractor Show

When you have no antique tractor shows to go to, make your own, LOL.

My 1967 Basildon built Ford 3000 Diesel, 1955 Allis Chalmers CA, 1952 AC CA, and two 1971 Massey Ferguson 7's.

The MF 7 with the chrome hubcaps is untouched and all original. But the other is a darker shade of red, but doesn't look like it was repainted?
I'm not sure, but I did read somewhere they all came a little different even in same year?

Good plan. I've done the same in my front yard. I've even had people stop and look.

Good looking bunch, by the way, tractor event featuring Allis Chalmers, next week here in Southern Illinois. See Events at top of page.
Wish I could. Some day. I was hoping to get to the Mackinac Bridge tractor crossing that's coming up too, but not sure yet.

That's a nice collection too Jarrod32. My wife wants an 8N. I'm trying to locate one local here that may? be for sale, it has a flathead V8 in it. Not a Funk, was a home made job, but it looked perfect last time I saw it.

I like those JD D models too. A local friend has one here, fully restored with a chrome straight stack on it and that things sounds incredible. I do love the sounds of the 2 cylinder Deere's.

Yeah, I love the old Johnny Poppers. I like the N series Ford tractors too, just because they are such an iconic part of tractor history. They can still do anything you would need to manage a small acreage to this day (with the possible exception of loader work). As for the D, that was my father in laws. It sat in his backyard with the weeds growing up around it. It was loose and complete, but in pretty rough shape otherwise. He said we could have it, and we found a guy locally to restore it. Now we take it so he can drive it in local parades and the tractor show. He's like a kid who waits all year for the county fair to ride the tilt a whirl when he gets to run it in the parades...

Here's a pic from a one-family tractor show last September in our backyard. Hard to tell from the pic, but all three are running. This was the first time all three ran at the same time ever.
