This was my Dads pet. It is only 22 serials off the one his dad bought new in '49. One owner machine from Bath MI.

That is a nice little Cletrac and the picture came through fine.
Some of the older threads I checked this morning don't show a picture.

Nice looking machine. If it was actually made in 1949, it ought to have different front idler-wheels. That HG has the older versions.

The serial number of the one in the photo is 46GA264. As you cam see the one they delivered Aug 17, 1949 is serial 46GA242. Probably came in the the Lansing depot on the same train car. The machine is almost 100% original, there are even remnants of the red vinyl covered horse hair seat cover. My brother who owns it now had a buddy of his who works with stainless make a new muffler. Guy even welded two rods around the body to simulate the flange ribs. As soon as I get to them I can post pictures of Pa's HG with the same idlers. And to answer DaveH below, I'm selling my Allis HD6B. I have to rename the file before I can post the picture of it.

The scan of the invoice is too big so I have to get it resized, but the gist: factory ordered 10-8-1948, shipped 7-22-49 on plant order A-19711-331.
