Yes many snakes are good! And, in all my years of hiking in the mountains of Arizona I have never seen a live rattlesnake! But, as soon as they predict 90 degree weather we head back to MN!

I mostly have western ratsnake here. Only problem with them is that they eat a lot of chicken eggs and chicks.

I've been know to catch black snakes and move them into my equipment shed.

For me fewer is better.

I don't mind 'em, I find the skins in the barn. Wife hates them. She was hanging out laundry and found this one hiding in her clothespin basket. Didn't have a chance.
