I own an Allis WB. I have been told by some collectors this is very rare and I am wondering what it might be worth as I am thinking of possibly putting it up for sale. If any one has information that would help me out I would appreciate knowing about it and should any one be interested in this I will consider serious offers to purchase. This tractor runs very well and I just installed a new alternator this last fall. It is wired for 12 volt. It does need paint and the bucket needs to be rebuilt due to wear in the bottom.

Never heard of a WB. I know of the WC, WD, WF, WD45 but never heard of a WB

A B has 24 inch rear rims and is about 5 ft wide outside the rear tires. It has a 3 speed transmission with 1 reverse gear. THere is no frame on the tractor, there is a cast torque tube between the transmission and the motor block. The serial number is by the shift lever.
The WC is a somewhat bigger tractor, slightly older (1940s). It has a 4 speed trans and reverse, It has a c-channel running down each side with the motor, drive shaft, transmission and final drive case all mounted in the middle. The rear alxe looks something like a big truck axle and not a boxy unit like a newer tractor. It will probalby have a narrow front end with two tires close together. THE c-channel frame will run out past the radiator and bolt to the other side. A newer version of the WC would be the WD, and later in the late 1950s it would have been a WD45. All are nice tractors, but not really "rare" or "expensive. If they run good, you talking $1000 range. If they are all fixed up and got good paint, maybe $2000. Non runners are in the $300-500 range.

Ok I just went out and got the sn off my unit. It is WD 109255. It does have a narrow set of steer tires but you sit backwards on this thing and the bucket is mounted on the back. The steering is done by a combination of rods and a chain system. The last time I talked to a collector that had been around he told me that this was a run of job shop units. I don't know for sure as I have looked through allot of Allis books and have not been able to find this. But a very good friend of mine talked to a collector from Minnisota about it and would not give any info instead kept trying to buy the unit from me.This was strange but it was quite a while ago. Like I say any info is greatly appreciated

You have a reversed WD loader tractor. Not particularly valuable as a collectible, but a pretty handy loader tractor.

I have a reversed Allis like you discribe, with Allis loader. Has a combine rear axle where the tricycle front wheels were and hydrulic steering. Quite handy. Not sure it is called a WB?

I agree I finally scraped off the dirt real good at the s.n and it is a wd. as things have progressed about this I have had more information on mine submitted than I have ever been able to get in the past. I previously had relied on some one else to get the numbers for etc. and never double checked until recently. Yes mine is real handy also especialy when it comes to getting rid of snow. The old girl starts right off no matter how cold it is and it may be slow by some standards it sure beats shoveling.
