Mystery plug on 1020

There is a big hex plug maybe 1-1/4" rearmost of the differential right side that is leaking hyd fluid. Does anyone know how much fluid will come
out of there if we pull it to reseal? Its back by the three point arms. Don't really want to pull it if all the hyd oil is going to come out

If it's on the bottom it is the drain plug. There should be an aluminum washer that seals it but it is probably paper thin or gone all together.

If leaking plug is the drain plug similar to what Cliff stated the correct washer part # & spec's are shown below. Removing plug will require about an 8 gallon drain pan to contain the hyd oil.

If you'll read paying more attention A&I price is package of 10 for $4.38 which is cheaper than $2.38 ea.

You might loosen the plug a couple of turns, and then wrap a foot of teflon string packing around the plug - and re-tighten.

You know that's a good idea! I have some 1/4" teflon tape here that might do it. Thanks JC!
