The key way on the top conditioner roll drive shaft is wallered out. Someone before me welded the sprocket to the shaft. After I get done this season I want to replace the shaft and fix it right. My question is this, does the shaft run all the way through the roll or is it atached to the end of the roll some other way? How do you get it apart? Thanks Steve

Owner's manual won't tell you that they are stub shafts, but they are no treat to remove.

Loks like on original rols shaft ends are not replaceable, on replacemrnt rols the are.
