NAA dash light

Can anybody tell me what to look for when replacing the bulb in the little black dash light. Mine is a 12 volt system.

Did it ever work?

If yes.

Take the bulb out, and look at the numbers on the brass base.

If you have a 12 volt system and it is an old 6 volt bulb looking at the old bulb will not solve your problem. Replacing it with the old 6 volt bulb will only result in burning it out soon.

Ian.......you do know little dash lites can be the same physical size whether 6v or 12v, don't you? Take yer current dash lite into a good autoparts store and tell'em you want a 12v-lite like this. Make the clerk do his job. Thats why they have parts books. ......respectfully, Dell

yeah, it'a a little glass thing with tiny wires inside. take it with you to buy a new one and let them know it's for a 12 volt system.
