NAA lacking power

I have a 50's model NAA. my tractor seems to be lacking in power when using a bush hog going on the level or even worse going up a slight incline. Just driving it runs fine up hill, level or down hill but run the bush hog and she loses all power. I've adjusted the carb but that didn't seem to help. i drained the water seperator and the carb thinking there might be water there but she was dry

There are a lot of things to check here. Does the governor work?
Does it speed up the engine as it should when going up hill?
If it tries to but can't, have you done a compression test?
I'm assuming that your carb is adjusted correctly as you say.

Side note - NAA model was made in model year 1953 and 1954.
Serial number will tell you for sure if you want to know.
Doesn't really matter in this case.

Sounds to me like you've lost a plug wire. My '53 did that to me. Change to good solid copper wire system, all five wires. You'll likely have to make them up from scratch, but you'll be done.

Everybody has good ideas and i'll look them all over. One thing i didn't ad was when she is running she will blow a puff of blue smoke and it happens under load or just running from place to place

That puff of blue smoke is probably from the cylinder that is not firing except once in awhile.

Check compression on your cylinders, my 53 couldn't get out of its own way if it had too. Cylinders 2 and 4 had near zero compression, we did a head gasket and she's all good.
