NAA, NAN, NAB

NAA 1953/1954 gas tractor
NAB is the kerosene version of the NAA tractor
NAN is the kerosene version of the 9n/2n/8n tractor
The NAN and NAB both started on gas and then switched to an alternative fuel vaporizing oil such as kerosene.
The gas tank had two compartments, one for gas, maybe a gallon or two and other side on tank for Kerosene. separated gas caps. Your sediment bowl had a two way lever on it to switch tanks

Here is how the serial numbers would have started for distillate fuel models

9NAN

8NAN

NAB this was for the 1953 Jubilee and 1954 tractor

To confuse this a bit more there also was a 9NBN used in industrials and a 9NBO used in tugs but they were gas tractors.
