NAA proofmeter recondition source?

Does anyone know of where you can send a old proofmeter to to be reconditioned. The needle on mine is broken and lays inside. Or should I just buy one thats available today? I have a 54 NAA. Thanks

I just had my proofmeter apart and reconditioned it. They are pretty simple. I soaked the base part in paint thinner overnight then blew it off and soaked it in 3 in 1 oil for a while. If the shaft bushing in the base is ok, then cleaning and oiling is all it needs. Work over a plastic tub so dropped parts won't go skittering all over the place.
