NAA steering gear housing and corn head grease

I know I've read on this forum about using corn head grease in the steering gear housing. I purchased a tube which is 14 ounces and I'm wondering how much I should use. There isn't any in it now.

I just kept pumping it from a zerk I put in the gear box until it came out under the steering wheel.
Never looked back, and never worried about oil leaking out again.
