Tearing down a 301d from an 830 I just bought. I take off the oil line running to the injection pump and antifreeze comes out from the oil gallery. I don"t know if this can be fixed? So I"m looking for a complete running motor just to bolt back in a go. Anybody have one? Thanks

Your problem could be most anything. You may just have a bad head gasket and anti is leaking into oil from the passage to the rockers. Problem may be crankcase is full of coolant caused by leakng o-rings. Case had some problem cracking sleeves just below the deck, I think the 1030s were worse than the 830s. The 830s we used were heat makers and if you were not careful you could lose a head in no time. The crank in your motor is huge factor in deciding what to do with it. If you want to sell it as is e-mail me.

The problem is the tractor sat for 1.5 years and was full of coolant without the oil pan on. I didn't see any dripping coming from around the sleeve orings. The heads look ok as well as the head gaskets when I took them off. I had the motor laying on the manifold side for 7 days, I don't know if that cause the water in the oil gallery or if there is an internal crack in the block. I have the crank at a machine shop an it is easily cleaned up, probably 10 under. It still would be nicer to bolt in a running motor and go.
