Need a block or engine.

Hello I have a farmall 806 with the c301
gas engine. I noticed the block had a
crack after buying new pistons and having
the head worked on. Does anyone have a
c301 block or engine available. I have
called multiple people and no luck.
Thanks

Much depends on where you are located. Shipping just the block across country might add 100% to the price. Bates Equipment in Bourbon Indiana is a probable source in that region. Jim

If you plan on working that tractor it will pass everything but the fuel truck. I would opt for a diesel engine for it and forget the gasser. Sorry about the cost of the parts for the gas engine just so much cheaper on diesel when they get that big and bigger.

Can the more common 263 block be converted to the 301 by pulling the sleeves and finishing the bore, Where is the Vet when you need him?

I have at least one complete around here that was pulled from a running combine maybe 15 years ago. I can get you some pictures if youre interested (my email is open).

400.oo loaded into your trunk, 6 hours north of you in central, lower Michigan.

The crack is on outside and inside. I was turning engine over with fly wheel while putting new pistons in and noticed water in the oil pan and it was not filled up with oil yet. So the crack I would assume is internal also.
