need a hood

I am in need of a 'special' hood. We are putting a 401 direct injection in front of an 830 comfort king rear-end. We are using 830 high tin sheet metal and would like to find a hood that may work. A 900 hood is the correct length but the height of the hood is too short.A 930 comfort king will not work either. We do not have an early 930 long nose to measure. Does anyone have one they could measure for me? The length we need is around 47 1/4 inches and the fuel tank end is roughly 16 1/2 inches tall and the front is 14 1/2 inches tall. Hopefully there is a hood out there that will work otherwise we will take two salvage hoods and splice them together. Thanks

You will need to manufacture a hood from two 830 hoods I tried several different 6 cylinder hoods to no avail ended up making my own. We put a 451bdt in a 830 dual range makes a very nice puller
