NEED a light like this!!!!

anyone see one of these on any old tractors out there?

Its a headlight/spot light as used on a military Clark Crawler, But I would have to amke an assumption that it was an item used on other tractors of the ww2 or earlier period.

anyone sen on like this on other tractors so I can widen my search to other makes to find one?

It doesn't look that special to me. It just looks like a teardrop worklight. They can be found on ebay, old or reproduction. It runs about $60.00 for a cheap one.

Thought I had one, mine is six inches across the lense,says cats eye on the lense but the lense isn't clear like yours and the mounting brkt is different.

its not so much the light bucket itself that I am concerned with, its the particular way the mounting is.

take a good look: Its got two riveted brackets to the light bucket. They apear robust, cast parts.

Between them is a round pivoted stemmed eye bolt to which the threaded portion gets mounted to a bracket, or simple angled bar, on the tractor.

I seek this exact same light bucket, as seen here. I know a lot of different ones will work, or make do, but I seek this exact same style.

If anyone has one, please advise. I can narrow my search if I know the tractor that its on.

Sorry, it looked like a common light to me. You might try this guy. It's been a number of years since I bought from him but he has mostly a military salvage. You might also try 4wheel drive hardware. They sell a lot of jeep reproduction parts.

Try sending these pics to Garry at [email protected]. He trades a lot in antique equipment lights and would be a likely candidate to have one of these. I have bought several lights from him in the last couple of years He has a lot of unusual lights and is pretty good to deal with.
