I'm putting a new clutch in a 4020 with syncro range trans the throwout bearing gave up and wore the fingers out on the engine clutch. I installed the new clutch and adjusted the fingers with the JD gauge.when i went to install the throwout bearing it just doesnt seem right. The sleeve that comes from the back that the bearing goes on has a machined spot for the bearing and a "retainer" it measures about .907 long bearing and retainer are about 1.366 Is this right or did the bearing failing wear the end of the sleeve off? When i took it apart the bearing was in pieces TIA Warren

It just knocks out of the back houseing like the bearing does, in fact I think they look the same on each end.
