Need help cutting pipe

I have some 16 gauge steel pipe that is 6 inches in diameter.
I need to cut it and weld it up to get a 90 degree turn.
Having trouble figuring how to mark it to cut.
Any help appreciated.

If you GOOGLE "pipe cutting template" you'll get all sorts of info on how to "lay out" your own pattern, or printable patterns that can be scaled to what you are working with.

Below is one of the first I found, looks like it might work???
Pipe metering

well your not telling us what u have for cutting equipment. a hacksaw or ??? so to do a straight 90 degree just put in in the chop saw and set to 45 degree's and cut and weld together.

It would take a fair sized chop saw to cut 6" pipe.

Get a cheap imitation porta band at H-F . Or bite the bullet and use a hacksaw. I have amazed my co-workers with what I can cut with a hacksaw - it just takes time.

Bob, I just scaled it to 6 inch pipe and traced it on 2 sheets of paper taped together.
Gonna go try it in my shop right now.
Thanks very much.

I've done that with my chop saw with no problem and that is what I have in my shop for the wood stove. What was fun to do was make my V snow plow out of a boiler tank cutting that was hard to figure out but I got it done by using some cardboard boxes

Here is a website that gives you full sized patterns for different cuts. It is for bicycles and tube-frame airplanes - I hope it helps. https://dogfeatherdesign.com/ttn_js/

You would get better flow and it would look better if you would cut it 22 1/2 deg and have 2 45 deg turns, and I would cut it with a grinder and a cutting wheel.

Or 3- 30 deg.

This bandsaw

Will easily angle cut the pipe
Bring it my place.

I bought some saw blades from John Deere that said they were for cutting pipe hard steel and metal rods they are amazing what they will cut cost quite a bit but they?re not your typical saw blades

If you have a metal cutting bandsaw I would cut the pipe on a 45 degree angle. It would be a lot easier to weld it up and look nicer.
