Need help identifying Old Disc

Hi I recently picked up an old disc that is in pretty good shape. However I have no idea what kind it is? and I have never seen anything like it.
It appears to have some sort of gear box that apparently is used to adjust the angle of the disc gangs but i am not sure how it works. And it don't think all the parts are there for that part of the disc. Any ideas on what kind it is ? and how it was supposed to work ? would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The disc does appear to have the original green paint and it looks more like an Oliver green more than john Deere green. ?

Case and you pull a rope to put in or out of working position like a rope lift plow.

I see a Case old Abe eagle cast into the gearbox top cover.

What does gearbox do?
Similar to the clutch box on a trip plow: pull the rope. and the gangs angle; pull it again, and the gangs straighten out, or at least that's the design. I have no idea if mine works or not. I have only used the disc twice, years ago, We plan to use it after blowing our bottom to start putting in two garden patches, so we will try it. If not, you can adjust somewhat using the levers.
