Need help identifying this attachment please

This attachment came as part of a bundle deal and I can t figure out if it s missing parts or exactly what it is. It looks like a pincher/grappler but it s pretty small. Any help would be appreciated.

I ain't never seen nothing like that before in my life. Can't tell what it mounts on or how it mounts. Looks like it has ONE 3pt pin there sticking into the ground, which makes no sense. Can't tell if anything is broken off.

What did the person who sold it to you say it was for?

Yeah I can t tell how it mounts or it s missing a mount. The horizontal bar has holes on each end which makes me think it free swings like a grappler but that offshoot hook up throws me off, like some sort of controller arm attaches? Nothing is broken on it, no manufacturer tags or labels.

I got it from an estate sale type deal, so no one knew anything about it. It came with a Massey Ferguson 1030, so apparently it worked with a subcompact tractor. The guy didn t own any other machinery.

Is there any residue in the teeth that might be a clue?
Like bark or root fibers?
