Need HELP unsticking a engine

As most you know I got a vac14 .. son drove it around some and parked it .... I decided to put it in the shop and change fluids and check it over ....
I drain the oil and it was dark so I put my little finger up the drain hole and it had some sludge in the pan by the hole ... so I got some Diesel poured a quart or 2 down the oil fill and rocked the tractor back and fourth .. did this off and on ... after the 3rd time the diesel came out pretty clean ...
So I put oil in it today .... changing the plugs and thought I would check compression ...
will the engine is froze .... can't turn it over with the crank so I put it in 4th and try rocking ... nothing .... try putting it in Reverse .... nothing ..

SO WHAT CAN I DO ?? WHAT CAUSE THIS ??? I'm not wanting to tear the engine down , unless that's what has to happen ....
I'm just confuse how this could happen .... since we did drive it around ..

I'm betting your starter is stuck. Loosen it up and take it out and reinstall it. I have a D that does the same thing once every 4 years or so. Don

well leaving the exhaust not covered when not in use is a big no no.once rain gets down the pipe and into the cyl's it will stick the rings to the cyl's and if not caught soon you will be doing a tear down. anytime moisture is accumulated in an engine it is not good. it produces pits in the cyl's and valve seats. a quick remedy u can do is pour some mystery oil or auto tans oil into each cyl. through the spark plug holes. leave it sit for a few days and then try it again. you did not say when you last drove it, like yesterday or last month or last year.
on my tractors with out a rain cap they get the tomatoe can cover. i am very fussy about keeping them covered.even to sit overnight they get the can. many a good engine has been ruined by not covering the exhaust.

He just drove it in the shop before he started working on it. I doubt the water would have gotten in the engine in that short of a period.

I still think it's my cousins old tractor. It's funny how far these tractors get from home once they get sold.

There is a can over the exhaust , anytime it's not being used ... same as with my other tractors ... even if they are parked inside I put a can over the exhaust ....
The vac was running around may-be 2 months ago ... might not even been that long ...

I will take the starter off and hope my problems are solve ... fingers are cross ...

The serial # is a easy one 6000017.... I would think one would remember that # .. then again ,, I'm getting older and I don't remember what I did last week at times ...

I never did know what the serial number was on Karl's VAC. Maybe it's time for me to give him a call and have a visit with him. I haven't talked to him in a couple of years.

Every once in awhile my 300 will lock up, and I have to pull the starter.
