Need Help W/ 4890 Engine Removal

Service Manual says to do what it takes for all the prep. to remove the engine, but never says to jack up engine & torque tube to clear differential. Simply says to do what it takes, then roll engine forward. The problem I see is that the engine can only come forward about 2" - 3" and the bottom edge of the Bell hsg. will hit the differential. The question is, after I come as much as I can, will the internal; shafts be clear so i can lift engine over the differential?

Might have to loosen the axle bolts and block the frame up to clear.

John, my 2870 service manual says to remove the axle mounting bolts and place 4 to 4.5 inch wood blocking between axle and tractor frame. When reinstalling the bolts are torqued 1300 to 1400 ft. lbs.
Wonder why it's left out of the 4890 Manual, but that makes sense. They show a picture w/ the engine removed, sitting on a cart in front of the tractor, not jacked up. Interesting.
