Need help with code

[Cotton Picker]

I came across 8 Farmall M & SM that would be used as parts tractors(unfortunately), three of them were M's that had the X20 code after the serial number(high-drum cotton picker attachment), one of the M's had X1 after the serial number, does that ring a bell with anyone?

I want to make sure before I tear it down for a parts tractor.

x1 is high compression gasoline. x20 means cotton picker.
