hi guys i have a jd vanbrunt grain drill i recently purchased its a model fb-a 13 row 7 inch spacings theres another number on it fb-137a.i dont have a manual for it and i dont know nothing about them.i want to drill a pasture mix of alfalfa timothy orchard grass and both clovers.it was a one owner he said it has never had fertilizer in the hopper.so i will probably broadcast it anyway.i need to know how to set things to make it work by putting the right amount of seed down.or should i just rent a no-till drill which will probably be easier to operate what would you guys do.
