need hydraulic control for loader

I found an old front end loader that fits a TO20/30 but it doesn't have the hydraulic controls. Can anyone tell me what I need to make it work. I see several at Northern tool, 2 spool, 3 spool, etc. I assume the GPM and PSI needs to be matched to the lift.

How many pairs of cylinders are on it and are they single acting (1 hose per cyl - gravity drop) or double acting (2 hoses per cyl - power up and down)?

simple gravity down trip bucket is typically a single spool plugging the second pressure port and using a return.

Power down would use the 2nd pressure port (like a log splitter).

Power dump would need 2 spool valve. (typically 1 spool per pair of cyls - where the pair is working in tandem).

You need to give a lot of information. Trip bucket or hydraulic dumping bucket. Main cylinders up pressure or down pressuers also. Do you want float or just up & down. Do you want to use a crankshaft driven pump (allows full time operation instead of just when PTO is ingaged? or Do yoouplan to use the existing hydraulics (kinda slow & un coordinated after using a modern loader). As I mentioned I have a loader -but I consider the older loaders more of a collectors addition for show. I remember moving snow with an old 8N.
