Trying to install new thermostat on tractor. After cracking one thermostat housing and a leak with the new one, I was wondering if there was a trick to installing it back on. I am guessing that the thermostat is sliding out of the groove some when I try to place it back on and bolt it down.
Also just want to make sure that the spring side of the thermostat goes inside the motor?
Thanks for any advice.
