Just picked up my new 930 tonight, this one is going to get a 2670 engine, maybe turned up a bit in fuel and rpm, also a narrow front , I think it will be fun.

If you plan on pulling it keep a wide front on it. I have pulled a 1030 with a 504 at 10 or 12 mph. Pretty easy to lay it over if things get out of hand. BTW I have 30 years of pulling experience.

I'm going to pull it, thanks for the info, that sounds like a good idea, I will probably leave it on, were you able to use the stock clutch pulling in the higher gears, also what rpm was it turning , do you have any videos of your 1030 pulling
Thanks
Ben

People will argue the safety of a wf but it's about the pivot point. On a nf it's at the ground on a wf it is of course higher. If you were to get it sideways all it takes is to go over the center of gravity tipping point and over it goes. It actually was a friends tractor with a 1370 engine. It ran 6th gear pulling an X factor sled on a good track in the 9500. It would have done 6th in the 10,500 but I had already gotten a speeding ticket in the 9500. Their limit was 7mph. I ran 5th and was still over. I didn't care. I was having fun! he had a shortened and raised stock hitch and was running the 15 inch clutch which will hold quite a bit with a beefed up pressure plate and a sintered iron disk. It was running 2500 rpm, the limit in the class was 2800. I have a pic of a hitch like I am putting on my 800 with the pto housing removed but I have no way to post them. The 2670 engine will make 300hp as is.

Could you text them to me? I would really like to see the hitch you have
Thanks

just what does it take to put a 504 into a 930-1030or1070, I have a motor and have had several guys ask about it but keep hearing its not going to work then I keep seeing people that do it , thanks

I'm not sure which one you are asking about, I just got a 1200 in the fall from Nova Scotia, it came here to Windsor Ontario. I've been working on it a little bit. My dad has one that we are putting a 1370 engine in, but that progress is slow, engine is painted and ready to go in. My 1200 is the last picture
