New Forum Format

This new layout is looking great! Thanks YT Support for getting us here. I am sure a lot of folks are going to be a bit confused and will need some tutoring along the way. Since I do most of my posting and viewing from an iPhone I see there are some items I have some questions about. I am sure this will all be up and in use as it was before.

The more I use it the more I see that they took a "best of both worlds" approach.

If you notice, my response is indented below yours, indicating that it is in reply to your post, just like Classic View.

Now it's working. For some reason my initial reply isn't indented but your reply is indented under mine. Hopefully this one is further indented under yours.

Now it's working. For some reason my initial reply isn't indented but your reply is indented under mine. Hopefully this one is further indented under yours.

In your settings you can switch to a chronological view without the indent replies, and you can turn on or off the quote to whom you are replying to for a different view similar to the old modern

Go up above to where your handle shows and click on it, that is your profile. On the drop down list click on peferences. Go down the list to "Avatar Display" and check the box where it says "Hide avatars when viewing posts". You can then go back to the forums and see it that looks better to you. You should only see the poster's handle and posting status. You may need to refresh your screen to get it to swap to your new choice.

The new software lets you make some changes to what you see. What is bothering you? If you give some specifics may be someone can tell you what to change in your preference settings to make it more pleasing and user friendly for you. Were you using Classic or Modern View before?

Yes the new system will take some time to get use to using but then again I have been using the classic view for 20 plus years and sometimes change can be hard to get use to

I would say something less harsh but I agree. I don't want to be flexible but the hosts treat us well most of the time.
Yeah, I am grouchy today.

For us that were using the modern view, it's pretty similar. Coming from the classic view that I think a lot of guys used, it's a Boxcar Magnum vs an F20.
