A condenser/capacitor tester I just bought. I should have had one years ago.

When I look at all the test equipment, air tools, and cordless battery operated tools I have in my shop now, I can't help but ponder how much more efficient and productive I could have been back in the day when I was doing auto body work and other work using just air tools and manual hand tools.

That’s really a “must have” in a lot of tool boxes. It’s nice to have this tool when your outside AC compressor isn’t working this time of year. A quick check of your cap(s) hidden by the compressor could save you an expensive HVAC call.

I'm glad if yours works well, I bought the exact one on Amazon and it is totally useless. I should have returned it in the time frame allowed and it didn't happen. Since then I found out how to test condensers with an ordinary multimeter.

I just upgraded from my 1980s version a few weeks ago. It's not professional, but neither am I. Made me feel better last week when running down what circuit breaker went to what what in this old house and gave a nice loud beep when close to a live switch or outlet. Turns out some of the labels in the box were wrong.
