I know this is late but I just came across your post, we own a NH 2000 baler. We run it with a Case IH 7210 which is 130 HP and does well with it. They are a single knot system, having 5 knotters total. The pre-chamber in them constantly runs, meaning that it doesn't wait until the chamber is full of hay before it makes a slice of hay. If you are making 1st cutting hay, it will make a nice bale, but it will struggle to make a nice bale in 2nd or other cuttings. You need to keep a large volume of hay fed into it to make a full slice. It makes 3x4 bales, which is nice for stacking, they don't tip over as easily as 3x3 bales. Being a single knotter, you can't make as heavy a bale as a double knotter, but we make between 900-1000lb. bales(mixed grass with ours. They do have an electronic bale command system, which will tell you if you have a mistie, or if you need to steer left of right to evenly load the hay. It will also allow you to set your bale density and will automatically open up or close in your bale chamber to achieve it without you having to manually adjust it. You can manually adjust the bale tension if the computer fails, but that is difficult. Hope this helps.
