New Holland 53 thrower

Does anybody know how the ropes are supposed to be threaded controlling the 53 thrower? Our Better a picture?

I purchased a used 310 baler which had a 53 thrower on it at a consignment auction.

IIRC there"s a "toggle" assembly on the top. One rope pulls it from the rear, (through a pulley) the other rope from the front. Should activate the release on the toggle and move the direction you want. Personally, I never used it- left it in the position it worked and just gunned the tractor to hit the back of the 18 foot wagons.
