(quoted from post at 19:58:24 02/06/20) Don't pay much is all I would reccomend, 2 WD with cab and air go at auction for 10K or less, open staion 7500, tractor is
allright for what it is but what it is is not a whole lot. I have traded several of the TL series and the smaller TN series
actually sell much better.
(quoted from post at 22:13:48 02/06/20)
Should be solid tractor in general.
2wd and AC cab is perfect for haying.
What loader is on it?
(quoted from post at 19:51:32 02/06/20) At auction and on auction time from time to time, not dealer lots, a 2 WD TL80 has about 45 Drawbar HP and maybe 60 PTO HP. Several NH models have a low ration engine/drawbar but the TL series is worse than most.
(quoted from post at 12:44:36 02/06/20) Where on earth are you buying an 80 hp cab tractor even without fwa for $10,000? I don't know anything about that model of tractor but if I could find a nice cab tractor to feed cattle I'd jump on it for that price.
(quoted from post at 06:41:43 02/07/20) You remind me of the AGCO dealer in Crewe VA,I asked him if he gets in many Long tractors,he said he hauls all the Long tractors straight to scrap because no one would buy them.I dropped my card on his desk and told him we could do business all he needed to do was to call me when he got a Long and I'd come pick it up and pay double what the scrap yard pays. That was about 15 years ago no Longs from him yet.(LOL)
