New Holland TS 110

My son is looking at a NH TS110 with fwa,cab and an Alo loader with 1200hrs. Any opinions on this model? If I remember correctly, the TS's had Ford designed engines. Thanks fellas.

yes the TS series is the ford design, real good tractor in my view. Not too many troubles with them. See alot more tn's come through the door with major issues. One issue with the ts is main ground bolts to rear hood bracket on back of cyl head. The attaching bolts for hood bracket to head work loose, so all of them I have worked on I loctite the bolts and run a jumper ground wire to starter to bellhousing bolt as well. For this is the main computer ground with out it big problems.

They're good tractors. Of that vintage the TS is the only one I'd really consider from NewHolland.
Some of the electro's had problems with their shift programs around here, but I think they were all basically sorted out long ago. I've got a TS90 with the 12x12 and to date there has been no trouble with it other than a hydraulic pump under warranty, due to a poorly fitted oil filter...
It's also had a muffler, needs a stack... and has had tires. Been a good tractor tho, and easy on fuel. Good torque... Not the screamer that the old 268T's were... but a good engine.

Also... if it still has Titan rubber on it... and probably did from the factory, discount that HARD because they're due to blow any day now. With 1200 hours they won't be worn very much, but the big boom is in their near future.

Thanks fellas!! They're asking $41000 Can. but I'm sure that's negotiable, will be trading our 5600 fwa with loader (2800hrs).

Kinda curious as to why you'd trade off a 5600 with only 2800 hours? Wanting a cab and/or better front axle? If you were close, I'd probably be trying to figure out how I could come up with the cash for your 5600.

Hi Fordfarmer -
I think they're just looking for some more hp,a cab,and maybe a shuttle trans. Our largest tractor is a 7700 and while we just have a little over 200ac,their meat business really cuts into their farming time. The 56 has been a good tractor and is still in good shape, just a little concerned over the future availability of parts for that front axle. We keep our Fords forever.
