new saw

early birthday gift.
craftsman 12 in sliding compound miter saw with laser trac . with my craftsman club card 238.99
heavy piece haven;t got it bolted down yet . have a special table with wheels and brakes for it( not craftsman) can't wait to try it . has anyone any experience with one . i have had a craftsman 10in miter for quite a few years and liked it bob w.

Have a 10 inch Craftsman slider. Was not cutting square and had to adjust it. Adjustments on the table on that one. Other than that, no problems. I Like the laser.

My Crafstman 12" saw is the worst Crafstman tool I've had. The fence is warped. No way to get it square. The laser was about an 1/8"ff then it died. Can't wait until I can get enough money to replace it.
Not all my Craftsman tools have been like that. I have 2 old radial arm saws. One at each house and they are great.
But that saw sucks.
