Inherited a 60 year old JD 1010RU. Buried in mud at the back of the property. 4 cylinder gas. After a couple of hours working on it, got it fired up and runs like a top! Mower attachment works as well.

GOOD JOB getting it operational and welcome to the Forum!

It is always helpful to have an Operator's Manual.

If you don't have one you can go to https://techpubs.deere.com/, click on "Equipment Publications" and enter your model and download a .pdf version for FREE or purchase a hard copy.

If you need to look for OEM parts, https://partscatalog.deere.com/jdrc/.

Hello CMD, welcome to YT. Looks like a decent machine, nice loader on it. So are you telling us that the former owner sold you the property and really made no bones about the this tractor setting on the back side of the property? You got about a $6,000 to $12,000 machine there maybe more if the engine and everything is decent.
