Hello everyone, Hopefully i can get some answers to questions i have here. I have a 1975 john deere lawn tractor 210 . Im needing to finally change deck bearing . But not sure how to do it .

When you say deck bearing do you mean one of the blade spindle bearings or a different bearing on the deck. Is there a model number on your deck? The 210 could have a number of different decks.

I think your correct, I dont have the deck off at this time , but I believe it does have a plate with numbers, if they are not worn down . But yes im referring to the blade spindle bearings. Thanks

Deck bearings are all the same on those decks. JD9296 for your bearings.
 
There are 3 carriage bolts that hold the spindle assy. to the deck. You may need to cut or torch them off to get the spindle assy loose. After you get the bearing assy. from the deck, Put the top nut in a vice and screw the bottom off the spindle. Tap the spindle out of the housing. There is a snap ring that goes against the bottom bearing. Remove it using a couple of screwdrivers. You can then tap the bearings out of the housing. Top bearing does not have a snap ring. It can be tapped out by using a punch from below.
