Check this out, went to a farm auction and couldn't pass on this vintage work horse. I saved this one from the scrapper, I found out later that he was the only one bidding against me. :D No major issues as of yet, I may have questions if there are problems.

Good for you . Makes me sick to think of all the good iron that goes to China as scrap . Just like all those beautiful horses that get slaughtered because people don't want the work involved to keep them or can't afford to feed them anymore . If I was younger , had the land & finances , I'd do my best to save some of both .Nice looking tractor . God bless, Ken

....Speaking of horses, I checked the serial number last night and the tractor is a super 77. The engine block numbers indicate a S88 or 880, 265 CI and a little higher compression. I had to pinch myself.
 
Just looking at the picture it appears that thing is
a puller with the weight brackets and tires and that
would also explain the different motor. It is a
shame that it could have gone for scrap. Glad you
bought it.
