New to Yanmar

I picked up a YM2000 over the weekend out of necessity, I need a small tractor with loader to (hopefully) prevent another shoulder surgery. With my tiny budget, it's understood some maintenance would be required. Think I got a bit more than anticipated!

On the driver's side, there are 2 connections dangling, along with a hose that doesn't appear to be dor drainage. Can someone please help me out?

Above the throttle linkage, there's a bracket dangling. I'm trying to loosen the screws to adjust the throttle, because the PO was using a cord tied to the decompression lever to shut it off.

Also, there appears to be an aftermarket power steering cylinder, is that correct?

Hopefully not too many questions in one post. I'll be getting manuals, the one that came with is just for parts. Thank you!

The aftermarket PS cylinder possibly is the reliable Hoye brand.

The YM2000 is a gray market twin of the domestic YM240. 97% of all parts are interchangeable.

This is a 2WD machine. You will need to check the front tires and keep those inflated to the maximum psi for using a loader.
With the loader, you will need to take half loads of heavy materials as the 2WD axle is not as strong as a 4WD axle. Still, a 2WD with a loader certain beats a shovel and wheelbarrow!

Brand M or Fredricks has the decompression parts.

The dangling hose could be the engine breather tube. It's like a PCV found in vehicles.

Not sure that the two wires are for as the image doesn't show where the start nor end at.

The YTOG has all the manuals for free.

in a perfect world, my reliable old 4wd Ford 1900 would have a loader. I need one to move feed from the truck to the feed room, clean up after the horses, and push tree debris to the burn piles. I think I'm going to have to get different front tires due to the ground I'll be moving around in.
