New voltage regulator wiring

Old regulator has four wires, four posts. Posts labeled Bat-Gen-Field and "L". New regulator has three posts, Bat-Gen-Field. What do I do with the L wire? I assume I have to double it up on one of the posts, but which one?

The purpose of the L terminal was to feed the higher amperage needs if the tractor aka lights seperate from the battery charging loads and possibly affecting charging. As Eric said you can add that wire to the batt terminal and will never know the difference.
