I'm trying to get back into a Win10 desktop I placed in storage three years ago. I remember having the local account pssword protected, but I can't remember the pssword. I know it's best to have password protection, but I'd like to get away from it on this one. Last July, I had an experience that was very similar to a thread written by George in TH aa few years aqo. My story started July 5 at about 2:30AM. I awoke at my wife's urging, but I could not respond to her questions. I couldn't speak. I couldn't move my left hand or arm. She asked if she shouled call 911, and I managed to give her a positive signal. The ambulance ride to Medical City Dallas was
pleasant enough. The surgeon I needed happened to be there. His quick action dissolved my clot. The next day I had regained use of my left hand. I have been in rehab ever since to learn how to walk. They tell me the stroke scrambled some of my brain siGnals and destroyed my sense of balance, which was sketchy before the stroke.

There is no easy way to bypass the log in unless you have a hint to the original password. There are several methods to reset and make a new installation and lose all your original data. Here is a link to one Youtube suggestion.
