Hello all!

I am putting my MF 50 back together this week and it has come a long way... I have a tremendous amount to wire to do the job... MTW and THHN but thought... maybe there is something that will look better or maybe more original... The wire I removed before I started the project was actually Romex that was pulled out of the outer jacket... not thinking to replace with that...

Any ideas... Cloth covered, PVC wire, ???

Best would be to use actual automotive spec (SAE J1128) wire. The gauges of SAE run 6 to 10% smaller than AWG. The SAE wire is more forgiving of vibration. You can get cloth mesh or plastic split loom to run your wires through.

Here is one source with some info on SAE primary wire types. https://kayjayco.com/wiretables.htm

For the lights on my 175, I used trailer light wire. The gray jacket matched well with the Massey gray.

The link shows an example from Amazon, I bought it by the foot at AG Supply, I imagine autoparts stores, trailer stores would have it by the foot as well.
