OK this past month I repaired a powershift in a 2096, 2470 and 1370. Time to move on to something different. This 800 gas engine I tore apart about a month ago. Needed a
bunch of parts and machining. I let the owner make the choices as to what I all had to do. It aint a perdy tractor but it should be a damn good runner when we are
finished. The crankshaft con rod journals had two ground .020 and two at .040. The valves arrived it that nice NOS box and I am using a CASE built bottle jack stand.

Great post! I don't always reply, but I look at this forum daily and enjoy your posts and many others. We are lucky to have so many knowledgeable people on this forum.
Thanks for posting, Nick

Funny Rod, we had the same "Case jackstands" at the old store, not sure what happened to them, but wish I had them back! Wow Rod, you triggered a old memory!

Looking great, Rod. You always have the most interesting projects underway, and many of them too! I've pretty well cleared my plate to do a bunch of shop work over the next couple months. A bunch of stuff to do on the "old" (grandpa's) 1370 now that the front PTO shaft was repaired by splitting and it is again mobile for the first time in many years. Some stuff to do on the "new" 1370 as well, but minor. Lots of little things on the SC and DC. Also bought my dad's Farmall M needing overhaul and OC-6 Oliver dozer needing a few minor things. Going to be a busy, but fun, couple months!

Actually there are quite a few that watch but don't post comments. Just wish I lived closer. Would be glad to provide some free parts chasing at times just to see the projects. Lee

I too enjoy your post and pictures . We have no one near by with Case knowledge like you. I would enjoy standing by and helping you on these projects ,so I could sponge up some of that know how ,lol. I often wonder , how much is too much to spend fixing a old tractor like this 800 . If it is going home to work, the cost is worth while is it not .

Nice. You amaze me as to what all you accomplish. Thanks for posting all the photos of your work.
Case guys are by far the best when it comes to sharing their knowledge with others.
