NH 467 bushing

What is the proper installation method for the bushing in the wobble box assembly where the sickle is bolted? The hay is so heavy this year and the old 467 is having a time with it. My sickle bushing was failing and has to be replaced, and I noticed the other bushing was loose as well. Thanks in advance for the help.

How loose is wobble box? Are you beating bushing in or pressing on outside shell? Is bolt Grade 8 and being torqued to 85 ftlbs in center of stroke? I know thats a lot of questions but all these are important to life of knife head bushing. All so check guard alinement.

Well if your talking about the bushing on the end of the bar and it is like the NH460 then it is a press fit. If you do not have a press find some one who has one because you can not get it in any other way

I am not speaking of the bushing on the sickle or cutter bar. I am referring to the one on the wobble box where the sickle bolts to the wobble box. There is no play in my wobble box. I heard the racket from the vibration, the cutter bar bushing was coming apart, and the other bushing was loose enough to remove by hand. The sickle and knives are in good shape. I am thinking about putting new guards on the machine.
