If anyone is interested there is an very nice looking Case thrasher listed on an an online auction on Ruhter Action. It for sale from somewhere in Nebraska as the auction is for several sellers. It looks really good with the belts hanging on it. You can go to Ruhter Auction and look for the auction. It shows a white pickup for the start of the items listed, The thrasher is the second picture.

Nice, straight machine. Those belts do look a bit dubious. The main belt might be ok.

I have the twin to that machine. But mine has the original tongue, better decals. and has spent most of its life indoors.
That sure isn't the way to store belts

Far too far from me, and I don't need a third thresher kicking around anyway. But reminds me of the story of Jerome Case and his thresher warranty: Can't remember the details, but it was something like this: A farmer bought a new Case thresher and couldn't get it to work right. Good ol' J.I. heard this and hopped on a train at once to examine and fix it himself. When he couldn't get it to work right, he pulled it into the middle of the field and set fire to it. Went back to the factory and told them to get a new thresher out to that farmer asap.
