Nice original W930

This was at the tractor show today. First one that I have ever seen, and the paint is original, except for rear rims. The front axle was very different than the Ag models also. It ran like a champ also. Jimmy MacFadden found it somewhere, but I didn't get a chance to talk to him and find out where he found it.

John as far as I know all W930 units came with a foot clutch, from Bro's pic I can see the linkage is the same as this parts link shows

Foot clutch. The seat is the same as on my 1963 831C, except it sets lower to the tranny. Notice the visor over the gauge cluster. I think they were a late addition to that series.

Dane, we were sitting in our Case 150 GT with the canopy up by the garden tractor track. We left the show grounds about 4:30.
I'm disappointed that we missed you. Our son had his 411B there also. It was 2 tractors up from the W930.

Have never seen one of those. Looks an awful lot like a 600 with later sheet metal and different front axle. Thanks for posting this picture. Don

The front spindles are the style of the 500, 600 and not like those found on 900/930. It also does seem strange that the serial indicates a 62 model, yet it is the short nose version of the 930, which I think was only produced in 1960. Possibly for whatever reason, they wanted to ise the shorter pedestal for this industrial version. The visor on the cluster was a change from the 900 to the early 930. The front axle does look a little wider than the regular 930, and the front wheels are unique.

Did you happen to notice the red bobtail tractor in the parking lot by the big pull area. Left your house about 4:30. Just like a dog chasing it's tail, we won't know what to do when we do meet,lol ,Dane.

Loren, did you notice the faint blue stencil "sask" on it. Made me wonder if it came out of Western Canada.

Dane,I saw the red ones on the LH side up front, but they didn't tell me anything that I could relate to.
When you were at the house, did you look over the heard?

Loren, certainly did, would have unloaded that load of wood for you but wasn't 100%
sure where and how you would have liked it stacked. Was that family working up the hill by the raspberry canes? Went passed them to turn around.Dane.
