No. 5 mower Inner Shoe

I was fixing up my dad's No. 5 mower and I noticed the inner shoe is slightly different than what is the original for a 1948 mower. It has slightly different mounting for the front knife guide. The old "rusted" shoe in the photo has the PN Z541H and it attaches to the knife guide Z8977H by a single bolt and a nub that sticks out. Note the two bolts with nuts for the green one. I cannot find a PN for the green one to get the proper knife guide. Anyone know where this inner shoe may have come from?

Must not have looked at the parts catalog???

You need a Z6010H for your older-style inner shoe that was used from '34 to '47.

Looks like you can still get it from DEERE.

Look on .pdf page 34 of the PC linked below.

Elbrus, not sure but I may have the shoe you need sitting next to the stove in my shop. Will look in the morning.

Thanks Bob. I had printed out just the pages of the 48 mower as that's what I identified. Apparently my father must have replaced the shoe in its lifetime with an older shoe he got somewhere else. Hence the other one was lying around. The mystery then would be to what happened to the guide for the older shoe.
Thanks again.

Thanks, but I'm not really doing a restoration as much as just fixing it up to be in a very nice usable condition. So the cheaper way out may be to look for the older guide PN Z6010H if someone has that for sale.

Bob,
I looked on page 30 and see the older style guide, Z6010H but it looks interchangeable with the newer style Z8977H and that would not be compatible with the inner shoe that I have on. I also do not see the part number for the "older" inner shoe listed. What am I missing?
