No down pressure for loader bucket now???

I have a 706 gas and took one of the rear control valves off and had someone look it over and put new orings and piston in it. Put it back in and got all the loader hoses hooked back up.

Feels like the hydraulic lines are still working things out but my bucket has no down pressure. It lowers fast(probably because of the weight) but doesn't always tilt back very quick.

Do I need to bleed any air out or maybe adjust the detent screw on the valve I had out. Just wondering if it will resolve itself.

Worked fine over the winter.

The air should work itself out with working it. Raise the loader frame up so you can work the bucket full stroke both ways a few times and it should have the air out. The detent screw only adjusts how tight the detent is and how hard it holds it after you pull the lever. Try switching circuits and see if the bucket acts the same or the loader doesn't lift like it should. If the problem moves with the hoses then there is something wrong with the hoses or loader. IF it stays with the valve then the valve is at fault. Check oil level just to be sure the oil level is up where it needs to be.

I will try those things. I took that valve to CaseIH and put it back in the way they gave it to me so hoping it will resolve itself or be something simple.

Started it up today. Bucket has down pressure now. Resolved itself.

Unless you opened up and drained the hoses to the loader, there should be no appreciable air in the system.

The valves under the seat self-prime almost instantly.

Information provided for future reference... since the issue seems to have resolved itself.

Still not back to normal. But I think it will resolve itself. But when I go start the tractor(and the loader is down and the bucket is sitting flat level with ground, I lift up the loader and the bucket just goes down as I lift. Normally when I would lift the loader the bucket would hold it position.
Something still seems weird. I did haul some heavy loads of dirt yesterday. Bucket seemed to work ok to lift the load. But when I tried to pull the pile of dirt back towards me with the bucket down it wouldnt hold its position and lifted up as it hit the dirt. I could kind of eventually get it to hold its pressure but it took forever. Have to keep working I guess unless there are other suggestions.
