No Fire

I just bought a new distributor for my side mount 8n, installed it and now when I try to criank her up I'm not getting any fire to the plugs. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice?

Did you clean and gap the points? Have power to to the distributor?
I'm assuming you put it in with it timed correctly.

I pulled the old distributer out and put the new one in,it
meshed up good.
Yes I set the gap at.025 on the new points.

What does "it meshed up good" mean? Did you time it?
They will fit in a lot of different ways.

Gator,Check and clean the points,gap and check for shorts and opens on points,condenser, and wire ect.
