No Position Control Lever

What year would my 8N be if it did not have a "position control lever" It only has a touch control lever. No Ford impressions in the fenders and it has a Fergusion System Logo on front grill. Engine distributer is in front.Engine block has been welded so much that a model or serial# stamp is not visible.

The 8N would NOT have a Ferguson tag on the front end and ALL 8N's had the position control and 4 speeds foward. Sounds like you are confusing a 9N or 2N with 3 speeds forward that it sounds like you have with the 8N tractor.
